10-30dBm Multi-band Cell Signal Repeaters

Cellular signal repeater is also known as cellular signal booster, cell phone signal amplifier, or cellular signal extender. Hocell RP-30 Series cell signal repeaters include models with single, two, three and four frequency bands, with output power from 10dBm to 30dBm, and provide customers with flexible choices to cover areas ranging from 100 to 4000 square meters.

Introduction

 

Mobile wireless networks offer great convenience to people’s communication. However, people often suffer from communication interruption or failure due to mobile phone wireless signal loss or weakness that are always caused by the shadow effect of wireless signal transmission and the buildings shielding effect on the electromagnetic wave. The situation also exists in remote areas with few base stations or beyond base station coverage.

The RP-30 Series Cell Signal Repeaters provide a simple, rapidly-deployed and low-cost solution to amplify cellular signals so as to improve or extend wireless coverage in different scenarios, such as home, office, restaurant, building or shopping mall. The coverage area is ranging from 100 to 4000 square meters.

The RP-30 series cellular repeaters include models with single band, dual band, triple band and quadruple band of frequencies, and output power from 10dBm to 30dBm, which can provide our customers with maximum flexibility to meet their requirements.

Main Features

 

1. Isolation Inspection.

When first powered on, the repeater will automatically detect the isolation between the donor antenna and service antenna. The user could easily see the status and make adjustment accordingly.

2. Input & Output Signal Strength Indication.

The uplink and downlink power measured in dBm.

3. Manual Gain Adjustment.

The user could adjust the gain of the repeater manually via the buttons. The uplink and downlink gain could be set independently.

4. Automatic Gain Control.

Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is a dynamic gain adjustment feature with 25dB range. AGC can adjust the gain of the repeater whenever the output power is higher than the maximum power.

5. Smart Mode.

The repeater could automatically change the gain according to the specific environment when the smart function is on. Please note that when the SMART is on, users could not set the gain manually.

6. Auto Shut Down.

When the input power exceeds AGC range on the DL or UL by 3dB, the repeaters would activate its Auto Shut Down function. Auto Shut Down is a status that temporarily stops the RF function. On the UL it will continuously detect the input power and resume RF function as soon as the power falls back to the safe range. For the DL, it will make three attempts to detect the input power in this temporary stage. If the input power falls to the safe range for the repeater to operate, the software would power the repeater back on and restore all functions promptly. However, if the input power remains too high and dangerous for the network, it will then shut down completely. In such case, the signal is too strong for the usage of the repeater.
