A stationary IMSI catcher (also known as a fixed IMSI catcher) is a type of IMSI catcher designed to operate from a set location, rather than being mobile. Unlike portable or vehicle-mounted IMSI catchers, which are built for mobility and ease of deployment in varying areas, stationary IMSI catchers are installed in a particular place and usually provide continuous or semi-permanent coverage over a specific area.
