Drone-based RF Interference Hunting System Helps an Operator Locate Interference Source in City
Project Introduction
Operator M in a city received complaints from multiple users living in a village inside the city, who reported that calls and internet services are often interrupted. Preliminary analysis indicated that there was radio interference. Due to the dense buildings in the village, the traditional manual interference detection would be time-consuming, and difficult to locate the specific position of the interference source. Therefore, the customer decided to use our Drone-based RF Interference Hunting System for the mission. According to the operation guide, the test task was set and the cruise trajectory was planned, and then the test data was collected while using the DT mode of the software to conduct automatic or manual cruise. Analysis of the data came out with a result, and photos of the interference source were taken by the drone.
Project Achievement
The interference hunting result confirmed that it was caused by some user's private installation of inferior signal amplifiers. After processing, the network radio indicators were significantly improved and the service returned to normal.
